Flagship engagement
Behavioural Segmentation Assessment
A three-to-five-week engagement that turns raw event trails and retention windows into named behavioural segments with clear priorities.
What you receive
You leave with a written segment brief that names three to six behavioural groups grounded in how people actually move through your app — activation moments, return cadence, feature depth, and quiet exit patterns. Each segment includes observable criteria, estimated size from your sample, and a recommendation on whether it deserves product attention now, later, or not at all.
The brief also lists gaps in your event taxonomy that blur segment edges, so your analysts know what to tighten next without rebuilding everything.
What is included
- Kickoff call to map decisions you need to make in the next quarter
- Review of exported event samples, cohort tables, and support themes you already hold
- Two working sessions (half-day each) with product and analytics stakeholders
- Draft segment definitions for comment, then a final brief in PDF and editable document form
- One follow-up call within fourteen days of delivery to answer clarification questions
What is excluded
- Installing or rewriting tracking code
- Ongoing dashboard maintenance or campaign execution
- Legal advice on consent or data protection (we can flag questions for your counsel)
How the work unfolds
Week one focuses on framing: which product bets hang on better segmentation, and which data sources are trustworthy enough to use. Weeks two and three dig into behavioural trails — who returns within forty-eight hours, who browses without converting, who uses only one feature deeply. Week four (and five when needed) turns findings into named segments and a prioritised action list your team can take into planning.
Preparation we ask of you
Share anonymised event exports for a recent window of at least thirty days, a glossary of your current events, and access to one person who can explain quirks in the schema. Book the workshop dates before kickoff so calendars do not stretch the timeline.
Constraints
We need enough behavioural signal to separate real groups. Brand-new apps with sparse usage may be better suited to a shorter Cohort Mapping Workshop until volume grows. We will say so early if that is the case.
Next step
Request an assessment from the contact page. Tell us roughly how many monthly active users you have and what decision the segments need to inform. We reply within two working days with availability and a scoped fee.
